Derek Newbold gave himself a two-year homework assignment: build the SpiderCarts GrandDaddy, sharpen his welding along the way, and paint it the kind of red that stops people in the driveway. He called it the Black Widow.
The build was slow on purpose, fit around work and life, and the care shows. Clean gussets, a tidy rear end, and a finish you would expect on something you paid money for.
