These terms cover your use of spidercarts.com and the plans, drawings and video lessons sold on it. Buying or downloading anything from us means you accept them.
What you are buying
Every product on this site is a digital download: PDF plans and, with the class package, streamed video lessons. We do not sell kits, parts or finished karts. Nothing is shipped.
Purchases include lifetime access. You can sign in and download your files again at any time, including revised versions we publish later.
Your licence
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to build from the plans for your own use. You may build as many karts for yourself as you like, and modify the designs to suit your materials and skill.
You may not:
- resell, share, republish or redistribute the files, in whole or in part;
- use the plans to manufacture karts for sale without a written commercial licence from us;
- strip the copyright notices from the drawings.
The designs, drawings and photographs remain the property of SpiderCarts. If you want to build commercially, get in touch - that is a conversation we are happy to have.
Build at your own risk
Go karts are motor vehicles built with power tools and welding equipment. Building and driving one carries real risk of injury or death, to you and to others.
The plans are reference material, not an engineering certification. They are provided as-is, with no warranty that a kart built from them is fit for any particular purpose or safe in any particular use. You are responsible for your own workmanship, your choice of components, the condition of the finished machine, protective equipment, adult supervision of young drivers, and for whatever local law says about where such a vehicle may be operated. If you are unsure whether your build is safe, have it looked at by a qualified engineer.
To the fullest extent the law allows, SpiderCarts is not liable for any damage, injury or loss arising from building or using a kart made from these plans.

Your account and your data
Access is by emailed sign-in link, so keep your email account secure - anyone who can read your inbox can reach your downloads. What we collect and why is set out in the privacy policy.
